bit steam singal of pc game (ati 5770 )

how can i get dolby digital signal from PC game call of duty?   i try and i ask so many time question but i cant get it!only get PCM singal .   i can get bit steam when watching movie including DTS HD but cannot in game !   pleasde help
i 'm using XFX 5770 display card and install CCC 10.4 already and my av amp is yamaha rx v 665    {:1_255:}

去Sound setting 選5.1 speakers.and 24bit192..吧..
點都會經PC Directx sound decode..好似..

i try already but only get pcm 5.1 to my av amp,   did any c hing get the dolby digital directly to the amp without decode?   or any software to help?   thanks!

You need to have a sound card which supports Dolby Digital Live. Unlike movies, most PC games are not encoded in DD5.1, so you will need a sound card which encodes the PCM channels into Dolby Digital for you. That technology is called Dolby Digital Live.
