我是新手,也在想 607 vs 508.開頭也覺得hdmi 1.4a 如不看3d會沒什麼用, 但剛看了雜誌話 hdmi 1.4a support Audio Return Channel function.即是用hdmi駁set up box 到 amp 已可, 不用再駁光纖or同軸.而且能自動detect到如amp開了, 電視的喇叭自己會關, 如amp關了, 電視的喇叭自己會開.這function好像很方便.所以我會買508.

    Big c hing, may I ask you what is the strength of pioneer's amp
I am beginner so looking for onkyo because of the avg performance

Pioneer is more analytical & more suited for movies. Onkyo is an all-rounder which gives me very little surprise.

    邊度有pioneer amp 可以試呢?同yamaha 比, 睇戲個感覺有幾大分別呢? 因為我自己想買yamaha 665, thx 師兄

Yamaha? Totally diff style wor... Pioneer is analytical. Yamaha is "surround" feeling. But 665 can't use DSP for bitstream.
