I don't use Media Player. Anyway there are two types of HDMI -- Slow speed and High speed. Only High speed (V 1.3) does support Dolby HD/DTS HD and Deep Colour and 24f Hz.

Yes. You are right. V. 1.3 = High speed. If the cable is printed with "HDMI" only, it is a low speed HDMI cable.
A high speed HDMI cable is usually printed with either "High Speeed HDMI" or " HDMI V. 1.3a/b/c".
Does anyone feel that coxial better then HDMI in sound? Dolby better then Dolby HD?

Don't waste money to buy 同軸線 & 色差線! At the end will change to HDMI. Furthermore,what's the point to buy a BD player, if you can't enjoy full HD quality????

好朋友應該要坦白...呢個已經係好朋友...至於佢成日寸你...可能係你地相處方法...又或者佢本身把口就係咁...
其實HDMI線都唔一定好貴, 你可以試下用D平平地, 效果都一定比你用同軸線 & 色差線好好多, 到日後你再有要求時先再upgradeHDMI靚線, 我自己都係用D幾十蚊一條果D HDMI線, 我自己個人覺得分別不太大, 可能我自己要求低吧
