    I have separate gears for cd/2 channel music:- Mod Squad Line Drive + Spectral DMA-50 + Sony CDP-X5000+Thiel CS 1.2 soI did not use the P5 for cd for comparison(no incentive on one hand and the trouble to re-connect on the other) . BTW, just learnt from current issue of HdAV, they are using the NHT Power 2 in their cd/2 chanel set-up.

wow thats great ...why not use whole set thiel for av , my friend using it and its so great expecailly for concert and the layer of the sound .

Well, whole set of Thiel is expensive I guess. Actually my Thiel CS1.2 and other 2 channel stuff (Spectral & line drive) are over 15 years old, not sure if it is good for movie type. What is your freind's gear list for movie and music?
