Ching, how's the picture quality of the TH-54Z? Did you change the power cord and HDMI cable?

z54 cannot change the power cable .Also I just use Belden HDMI.The reason is 54Z is much better than V50, Because it is total difference technology. It isusing Pioneer technology.Z54 is Vacuum panel. but V50 is not. You can check in V50 when you see the subititle by side. V50have shadow but Z have no shadow. Also the coating materials in the panel is difference. That why Z is mcuh expensive than V50 and can produce moredeep black than V50 . I am not sure whether the coming new model of Panasonic Plasma will use this Vacuum panel or not
