The movie begins with Ha-yeong's father Joo-hwan filming a self-tape. Joo-hwan, who creates children's books, tells his daughter Ha-yeong a story about a spirit that only appears in children's books. The story is that if you sincerely hope and wish, a spirit will appear and grant your wish. Joo-hwan gives Ha-yeong a letter containing the contents of her spirit, and Ha-yeong, who was skeptical of Joo-hwan's words, meets her friends and finds her spirit.
