AV Connection

My AV system includes the following :
1.Sony 765 BDP
2.Marantz 6004 AV Amp
3.Sony 40X LCD TV &
4.Tannoy Arena Surround Speaker System

The standard connection is surely to connect 1&2 and 2&3 by 2 hdmi cables.My question is will the picture quality be better if 1 is connected directly to 3 via hdmi (for the video) and 1&2 is connected via Coaxial cable (for the audio) ?C-hing please advise with thanks.

Standard connect 係咪 BDP HDMI Cable 駁入Amp, Amp 再 HDMI Cable 出 LCDTV {:1_332:}
