Thanks for your reply. A little bit understand. After reading the manual of Z7 and Rotel amp, the output voltage/impedance of Z7 pre-out is 1.0V/500 Ohm and the input voltage/impedance of Rotel amp is 1.5V/32k Ohm. Is it the point what you are saying and there is no problem of Rotel amp?

SMART !{:1_335:}i m thinking of find some prove for you and you find it first ! thats exactly what i m saying ......i m not good at electricity but i read this kind of essay in some u.s. web , yamaha av amp usaually less then normal or THX limit ,thats why its hard to use 100% of the power amp nomatter how powerful your power amp was.

thats why so many people play pre amp ....the signal was stronger so that the power can handle better .

今日終於有時間同精神認真比較過只用Z7推前置同pre-out用Rotel RB1080推嘅效果 (因之前全家大細病咗成個星期{:6_228:})，發覺用Rotel RB1080推上落動態大咗，而且細節明顯咗同聽多咗，好彩無入錯{:6_193:}，依家真係聽唔返轉頭，為咗有更好表現，所以入多條綫
