50W Class A is powerful enough for most of the speakers and the price seems good.

I was considering Shanling after read your thread, however I found vocal sounds very weird after a short audition.then I saw a 2nd hand Marantz PM7001 KI and nought it.I dunno if there is any problem to A40MK3 since it is a 2nd hand, or just nature of the beast.

Class A 50Wer amp is good for handling most of 2 way 6.5" woofer。
Therefore, I use a DIY amp when I have played hi-fi for few years! At least, you don't need to concern about the power and the controlling issue.
My power amp is very sweet in vocal.
