LCD電視高度 - 小分享

Due to the furniture & hi-fi gear, I see many chings place their LCD TVs quite high. Personally, I hate looking up at a TV. It gives me a neck strain after awhile. Eye level is ideal. The pic quality is best. Similar to LCD monitors, LCD TVs tend to shift if you don't view the screen directly (no such issues with plasmas).
Viewing angle
Viewing angle is another factor that affects a TV's performance. Your TV will look its best when viewed straight-on, at a height where your eyes are level with the middle of the screen. With that in mind, you'll probably need a TV stand to support your TV and raise it to the correct viewing height.
If you have a flat-panel TV, you can either go with a stand, or use a TV wall mount for on-wall placement — an arrangement that saves considerable floor space and gives your home theater a nice, finished look. Most people choose to place a couch or loveseat directly facing the TV in their home theater rooms. If you're using a rear-projection big-screen TV, you'll probably want to be especially careful to arrange your room for maximum seating directly in front of the screen — these types of TVs don't have as wide a viewing angle as flat-panel LCD and plasma TVs. You'll want to be sure to place your big-screen TV at the correct viewing height for the same reason.

不過我覺得除左距離位置外，錢係一個好重要既問題.

Ching, it's lovely to have such a sizable living-room. It maybe more suitable to get a projector.
Besides the distance from your sofa to the tv, the height is very important. I find a 3 layer tv rack is already too high. 5# djaddy
其實我屋企係L型廳，不過要客廳及飯廳對調用，先有個好D既長度及闊度．projector暫時都唔諗啦，呢個批文唔係一時三刻可以取得到.{:6_136:}
我用緊個櫃得20"高，再TV放櫃面，都覺ok, 以視覺水平計大概去到TV正中位，不過個櫃唔夠高就有要就住尺寸去買機. 6# ricoy288
The sitting heights of the sofas must also be taken into account when it comes to viewing & positioning of the TV. I feel the general rule of thumb is a 2 layers TV cabinet. 4# ricoy288

我個screen離地40吋有多﹐好在梳化背少少後傾唔係就睇得比較辛苦。最正梗係有得訓低﹐好似飛機位咁訓低少少就正。 6# ricoy288

agree with u.
sometime I feel 3 layers is too high also.
