The name misleads people.Actually, linn silver does not contain any silver.It contains thicker copper and better shielding than the linn black cable.

The cable is around 2.5k to 3k, both RCA and XLR are available with similar price.
Don't try other brand cable since it is difficult to find a cable better match with Linn source.If you still not ok with sound after changing the silver cable, you may consider to change the amp.
I am connecting my Majik DS with my Naim 122x+150x+FC2 combo.I am quite satifised with the sound, no thin, natural and balance.

I used kef iq30 before, I think it's the speaker's problem of not "thick" enough, though changing cable could help a bit.
