Velodyne impact mini standby mode
My friend has avelodyne impact min and onkyto 606. He finds that the subwoof's light always cannot turn to green light and stays in standby mode when he enjoys movie. He takes his subwoofer to my home but ithasn't any problem. When he takes back home, it work well for one day and today he calls me, the light still stands in standby mode and cannot turn to green light when he enjoys movie.We don't know whether this is amp , subwoof's problem or cable problem. Can any ching give some suggestion Change a better power cable, may solve the problem.... since it may be the ground-loop problem.... {:6_146:} 3# cmsjkung
Sorry, what is meaning of loop back problem from the power cable ? can you explain more ? Simply, ground-loop problem -> power got noise which can not make subwoofer go to standby mode... I had encountered this problem before, try a better power cable may solve the problem, you can get a normal power cable and try it first (<$100), to see it can solve the problem or not... if not you may need to disconnect all cables and start investigate by connecting one cable (HDMI) and then another cable (RAC) etc to identify the problem... 佢係話佢長期 standby 唔會轉綠燈 wo, 會唔會係 amp setting 入面未撻著個 subwoofer?

the AV amp has increased the volume and woofer has been turned on already as i always cannot turn to green light ( from standby mode to active mode) . Tonight i will ask my friend to change the power cable first If no RAC cable connected to subwoofer, can it go to standby mode ? C ching
My friends has changed the power cord ( a normal one ) and use a red & white card to replace the RCA. Sometimes, it can change to online mode and sometime it always in standby mode. It really annoys him.
Anybody know,is it the power bar, power code, RCA, woofer or AMp's problem ? Can your friend tell us value of the subwoofer inside the "Speaker Setup" > "Level Calibration" of the AV Amp?
