聽过Y記Z7推B&W 800 hometheater series,

Z7有冇加後級,
佢話"冇", 直出喇叭,

first of all , u need to play with the EQ ,i used 3800 with power amp before , if u really want an "real" upgrade, not only change the sound quality or style , u need at least 150w or over for my own experience ,especially on movie part , cd part will be much easier to hear the different .z7 power part not that bad , i did try compare 3800 with 300 x5 power amp vs yamaha z11 , and the result was the dynamic can win z11 but the detail will lose n surround will lose as well .
i owned rotel 985 and parasound a23 before,in this case i will choose rotel because the price different was double but perfomamce not that far .how about add a second hand 2 channel power amp ? if z7 push less 2 channel , i m sure it will perform better as well, if u buy a 5 channel power amp in lower grade ....i rather buy a higher grade 2 channel power amp , thats what i will consider .{:1_352:}
Not just the sonic performance.
The dynamic and sound stage is great.
If just the EQ adjustment, that really big a difference!

adcom style was bright at high notes and crystal clear , rotel was thick and more bass but high notes was darker compare to adcom , the dynamic almost the same , depends match with which speaker but i guess they are both good enough to go .

i guess it would be fine . if the price was almost the same , it won't be very much different , only the style , like england amp nad , the music part wil peform in a different way .{:1_352:}
