   A new documentary, from Ron Mann, coming to theaters Spring 2019 — step inside Carmine Street Guitars shop in New York City. There, custom guitar maker Rick Kelly and his young apprentice CindyHulej, build handcrafted guitars out of reclaimed wood from old hotels,bars, churches and other local buildings. Nothing looks or sounds quitelike a Rick Kelly guitar, which is the reason they are embraced by thelikes of Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, Jim Jarmusch, just to name afew. Featuring a cast of prominent musicians andartists, and some virtuoso performances, the film captures five days inthe life of one shop in the heart of Greenwich Village that remainsresilient to the all-too-quickly vanishing way of life.
