I think I am the first one to get their upgrade service this morning.One seems marketing guy and 2 engineers.Very polite and professional.   And they refuse to take my tips.

BTW, they did not take away the original power board and sound board.So I have a spare parts.

I listen to a few CD.I feel better in treble part and more transparent.The engineer said need to run for sometimes to run-in the machine.

Oh!!!I'm the last one but they told me that they forget to take the RS-232 board and will ship one to me later.I'm ok with that as it has no use.

However, I just have one spare board now.It's sound board, no power board.Do you mean that there is a separate power board?

Yes we have 2 boards left.1 (green) sound card and 1 yellow power board.

Oh!!! That's strange.He just left the sound board to me.I opened my Oppo 83 and note the power board is the upgraded one (black color).

I further found the internal picture of Oppo 83 and Oppo 83 SE from other web.My 83 is exactly the same as Oppo 83SE.{:1_253:}

I also only have the sound board and back panel, no power board.... but I saw them changed the new power board.... Yes may ask them return the old power board...{:6_126:}

Is it possible to ask them send my old power board to you as well, and can I collect from you... if you don't mind {:6_143:}

Sure don't mind.However, I note from the below link that some Oppo 83 has the black power board already.Did you notice that they changed the power board in your Oppo?I was busy to find the power adapter at the beginning and not sure if they have changed it.

BTW, I was surprise they did not take away the boards.Our total cost is 4380+2500=6880.While a BPD-83SE is 7380.We are paying 500 less but we have one more sound board and one more power board (for those who have it) {:1_333:}
