FlatpanelsHD reported in September 2017 that HDR10+ works over HDMI 2.0b. At CES 2018, Samsung confirmed this information and explained that it is using a solution called ‘Infoframe’. It can carry 24Kb of metadata in the signal, which can then be interpreted by the display.
