美國鬼才漫畫家John Callahan癱瘓重生事蹟搬上大銀幕。游手好閒的John（華堅馮力士 飾）因一場醉駕車禍而四肢癱瘓，本來已好酒的他，因此終日以酒精麻醉自己。其後John與物理治療師Annu（朗妮瑪娜 飾）漸走漸近，在她的鼓勵下參加戒酒班，更意外發現自己的漫畫天賦，亦開始坦誠面對自己被酒精毀掉的遺憾半生。John 最終能否戰勝酒精，以愛和漫畫走出低谷人生？
