Pioneer AV AMP and XBOX360

Get help from Pioneer AV Amp C hing, I have a old Xbox360 (still Component version, not HDMI) and plug into the LX52 Amp and want to output to my projector or TV by HDMI. I have try many setting , but still not work? Is it possible?

of course you can. input by component (make sure you have set the right settings in the Pioneer avamp menu) and output main/sub to your tv/projector

got nothing on the screen at all ?
maybe just try to use the component cable to connect it to TV first.
try to select "output by component" in your xbox 360 welcome screen
