LG 65UB9800 4k TV (2014 model)

Hi Ching, I'd bought a LG 65UB9800 4k TV in late 2014.Although this TV don't support HDR, I would like to buy a 4k UHD player recently.However, I'm confusing for connection since I found that the HDMI port 1 showing it supports HDCP2.2 but port 3 support 10bit deep colour.   As I know that all 4k source is protected which can only play back with devices supported HDCP2.2.On the other hand, I guess the picture quality via port 3 should be better than other port.

Therefore, I want to know which port (port 1 or 3) which is better for me to connect with the 4k UHD player to produce a much better quality of picture.

Have you bought 4K player already or you are going to buy a new one?

not yet.just consider to buy xbox one s or panasonic UB400 etc......

Since my TV don't support HDR, the above bdp is enough for me.

Must be port 1 with HDCP 2.2 only, otherwise 2160p will be downscaled to 1080p.

Then, pls consider to have panasonic UB400 as it has a special function for non HDR 4K TV and with 2 HDMI output.
