When you DIY the cable, watch out.
The insulation is very fragile and the heat of your soldering iron will damage it easily if it is overheated.

is it ok to use cheap cheap plug with Audioquest
or somthing will turn bad{:6_141:}

What you bought is good too.
WBT has got its own special design but I don't think it helps the sonic performance very much except the durability.
