中置 pre-out to Velodyne DD-10

My friend has a Velodyne DD-10 subwoofer which can have output to speaker. He wants to know whether he can pre-out the 中置 from amp to subwoofer and then connect the speaker cable to subwoofer. If it can, which 位置 in woofer to connect.

C Ching, i still don't understand how it operate. Your question is "I guess your friend want the DD10 to handle the center channel bass, isn't it" is correct. However, i still have some questions.

1. What is the purpose of speaker input in Velodyne DD10 ?
2. For your method do you mean 1 to 4 is a step, i should complete step 1 to step 4,
however, i cannot find DD10 speaker out and i only find speaker level input right/left. If according to your method, there should be speaker input and speaker out, i can only find speaker input. Moreover, i don't understand "DD10 crossover knob to dial in the optimal center crossover frequency" , can you explain in details.
