Music Studio in my 1916 home's attic
I have roughly 800 square feet of usable space, accounting for 4 foot walls where the roof comes down. The floor now is old hardwood, with no insulation between the ceiling below and this floor. The exterior of the house is stucco and wood, and seems to be pretty sound resistant, as the home is built quite well. There are hundred year old single pane windows with good storm windows on the outside.I plan on using spray foam insulation and batting on the roof and exterior.I am looking for some ideas that any of you would have, as far as flooring suggestions, building technique suggestions.
I hope to have a google sketchup drawing ready sometime in the next week or so.
THANKS!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
