DIY Speaker repair-- Pls. help

All DIY High hand C hing,
I 've 2 Mourdan Short small speaker, nothing much, I am using one of them as centre speaker now.
but the wood skin of the speaker started to peel off at the edge, must be due to old age and dry weather.

Now, it doesn't affect the sound but just doesn't look good! thinking about repair it at home.

Planing to apply some wood clue and clamp it tight to press the skin to the body. before I do it, would like to see if and DIY Ching got the same problem before and how did u deal with it.

這樣看應該是蔗渣板,好難弄的.蔗渣板會一粒一粒掉出來的.
