火牛 Question

Check the AC frequency (50hz or 60hz).

標示120V的電氣用品在台灣地區使用是最好不過了，不過大家忽略了一點就是台電輸出標準家用電壓是117V，平常習慣說成110V，你使用電器場所離電線桿變壓器是最尾端的話，電壓可能會降到110V以下，如果非用電尖峰時段，正常電壓不會降低，如果120V的電氣用品輸入110V的市電，不會降低壽命，但是無法發揮100%的效能而已，如美國電氣用品是100V，在台灣使用一定不會出問題，相反的日本電氣用品是100V，在台灣長期使用117V就真的會容易損壞，造成使用壽命減短。
