I just took out the Titanic Zone 1 dvd. Wooo.... i'v never seen dvd perform so well on my 47" b4.

The player only came with simplified Chinese menu. The bi-lingual menus, Chinese & English, are currently being developed that's due out at a later time.
The China version player could only read Zone 1 DVDs & Region A Blu-rays. I successful patched the DVD all code crack: I burned the Super_Disk.ISO onto a DVD & inserted it into the Oppo player. After a few seconds, the disc ejected by itself.

When your player arrived, the on screen menu is only chinese/English?? I prefer to have an English menu!

Since I am very happy with the DVD performance of the Oppo 83, I took out some old movies that I have on both DVD & Blu-ray. Since these movies were made long b4 1080p. I gather the blu-rays are only re-sampled into 1080p format. Hence, an a/b test is in order. 9Gb data vs 30 - 40Gb data!{:6_174:}
