Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (4K HD/Blu-ray/Digital HD) releases of Jim Henson'sLabyrinth. The film has been restored in 4K and the Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD discs will include Dolby Atmos soundtracks (Dolby TrueHD 7.1 compatible).
Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD extras will include:
•The Henson Legacy (New) – Jennifer Connelly and the Henson family talk about the art of puppetry and the magic of Jim Henson, along with a visit to the “Center for Puppetry Arts” featuring The Jim Henson Collection and over 100 puppets from Labyrinth.
•Labyrinth Anniversary Q&A (New) – Hosted byMythbuster’s Adam Savage with participants Brian Henson, David Goelz and Karen Prell, and surprise guest Sheri Weiser.
•The Goblin King (New) – Remembering David Bowie with co-star Jennifer Connelly, and Jim Henson’s children Brian Henson and Cheryl Henson.
•The Storytellers (Picture-in-Picture)
• Commentary by Conceptual Designer Brian Froud
• Original Making of DocumentaryInside The Labyrinth
•Journey Through the Labyrinth: Kingdom of Characters
