if you have a chance to try SVS, you wil be able to tell how it feels like being surrounded by low-frequency.It just fills up the room and SVS can go really really low ...
Choosing a subwoofer is just a matter of taste + room acoustics + budget + heart ... just my 2 cents, before going deep into AV, ask yourself if you are just going to buy a general system, or a system that truly sound well for your own taste ...
