救教安裝 BD Rom

昨天裝了一個 BD Rom, XP 只顯示為 DVD/CD Rom, read DVD 無問題, BD 就當無碟 {:6_159:}請教咁多位裝咗 BD 嘅{:6_128:} 係咪仲有嘢要 set 呢？

Your BD Rom should come with a Free BD software.Try to install and run it first. {:6_240:}

I've installed udf 2.5 reader, the computer can recognise the disk now. But the bundled PowerDVD 8 can't play BD Disk, everytime I press the play button, the application just shutdown without any error message, how come?

Try:

1. You may need to update patch for your PowerDVD.
2. Is your monitor / TV & display card HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) compatible?

After update the display driver, it works now. However, I found it can't output HD Audio either using HDMI output or SPDIF, how to fix it? Besides, it can't play ripped iso file, is there any problem?

SPDIF cannot transmit HD audio (e.g. Dolby TrueHD & DTS HD).

At present, you can get HD audio via HDMI if you are using:
1. ATI 5xxx Series Display card (over HK$1000@ now)
2. Asus Xonar card or similar:

For any other nVidia or ATI display cards or chipsets, you can get DTS / Dolby Digital sounds only. {:6_142:}
