Since there are many JBL fans, perhaps some CHing may answer a question in my mind for a long time.
My boss used to have JBL 4365 driven by Ayre K-5xe / V-5xe, in a >200sq ft square room with sound absorption walls.It sounds abnormally thick for me.Changing only the speakers to B&W, Vivid Audio, or even Lawrence Audio then the sound becomes "normal" for me.Is the room too small for JBL 4365?Or Ayre is not a matching amp for it?
