師兄，你畫面可能調得未夠黑，對比度，光暗度有所不足，
我用105播一代宗師，無你所說情況，畫面滑滑，不關碟事。

Both the disc and the TV.For this particular scene using another TV it may look better but I don't think the banding would entirely disappear.
You may also try a color gradation test chart like this on your TV:

mainly video processing issue, a good renderer can eliminate most banding

抱著契而不捨的態度，我從日本亞馬遜訂了日本版的Evangelion 3.33: 用同一套機器播這個日本版, 並沒有出現那個color banding的問題, 而整隻碟的色彩亦較飽和!!
結論即是: 我手頭這隻香港版畫質有問題!!

師兄先用校機碟或軟件再校一次畫面先再下定論！
