What is Pure Fine Silver Core Wire(.99996)?
This Pure Fine Silver Core Wire (AWG27, 0.36mm in diameter) is specified as 4N, which means the guaranteed minimum of purity is 99.996%. It has very high purity and very low resistance. The resistance of the AWG27 wire is measured at 0.008 Ohm per feet, which is hardly any resistance at all. (Therefore, the total resistance used in this 2 ft. cable is 0.016 Ohm). This measurement barely affects the sound distortion of music. For this reason, we recommend that you use no longer than 3 or 4 feet of cable, if possible, for the best sound quality.
