The DM 2/8 is highlighted in the September 2008 issue of The Abso!ute Sound in a feature on budget high end systems. The DM 2/8 was selected as a speaker of choice for a "Tube-Nirvana" system, and was praised for delivering "big dynamics from a small package".

Dynaudio Engineers designed the DM series to be as affordable as possible without sacrificing quality. DYNA的確係好喇叭，
但係話同價位殺低所有對手~
我就好有保留，
相約價位亦天外有天，
Atohm....Volent.....Opera.....
小弟都係單娜喇叭用家, 但都唔夠胆講佢係最強, 始終一山還有一山高, 而且單娜現在的價錢事實過高!
