Then it is pointless to measure all channels at equal sound level of 75db or 80db

there are so many standards ....
some say 75
some say 80
some say 85...
as long as all channels are at the same sound level .....
your master volume knob will work for u .....{:6_241:}
all channels are set to the same level, it's just sound tracks are produced based on all channels are set to the same level
During level calibration, av amp master volume at "0 db" is the reference volume which is equal to 105db at peak for all channels, while LFE is 10db louder, ie +115db
Someone prefer all channels at 8 ...
