Honestly CAPITAL ARTISTS label original music arrangement and recording are just average comparing to other major leading label such as POLYDOR, EMI, WEA or CBS/SONY, perhaps because the connection to the monopoly of TVB, so no need to improve the music arrangement nor recording quality but the sales still good{:1_247:}
so I would comment none of the CAPITAL ARTISTS music arrangement and recording are impressive to me so far, they just okay but not exceed any expectation at all{:1_250:}
In fact, some small local labels such as WING HANG or FUNG HANG do have impressive break-through music arrangement, performance, and recording in that era{:1_326:}
Lastly, honestly I don't hear much significant difference compared with the first generation of Japan TOSHIBA pressing or nowadays those Japanese SACD reissue.
Yes those SACD reissue generally has a better sound-stage and clear sound, so you may hear some minor details which is hard to hear from the old CD recording edition. (But not all SACD reissue are good!!!){:1_333:}
If you don't have the old edition, buy the new SACD is okay. But if you already have the early edition, I would suggest you save the money to buy something you don't own are more wiser and practical to hear more different music{:1_263:}
