Shorting Unused Inputs

昨天網上爬文得知原来可以short咗D plugs 來減少noise:
3-10 Shorting unused inputs
Pre-amplifiers, receivers etc. often have many selectable audio inputs of which not all are used.
The unused inputs are left open and along this way it is sometimes possible for electrical noise and radio frequency
interference to leak into your audio signal.
This is dependent on the quality of the internal circuitry and construction of the audio device in question.
Electrically shorting the unused inputs is a good idea to make sure that this crosstalk path is effectively blocked.
So, go to your audio dealer and buy some cheap RCA type male connectors. With each connector solder a very short wire
between the center pin and shell so that the plugs are electrically shorted. Then insert them in your unused inputs.
You may well find that your noise floor is lowered and that the audio has become cleaner.

Searched過internet， 效果紛紜。 小弟的測試結果: 有效{:1_245:}
音像sharp了及清晰些。 可能減少了噪音， 分析力好了D D. 小弟日夜試音的那首 Danse Macabre：

原来在開頭的約十秒， 有一下"唔"聲！ 之前比較隱晦， 但用了shorting plugs， 會聽清楚些。

如果你的前級輸入是用RELAY去接駁的話, 我估便不用這樣做. 以前都有DIY過類似的CAP, 但後來發覺原來唔用仲啱聽, 而家乜CAP或者protector都冇用。 PP-HK 發表於 2015-1-27 10:07 static/image/common/back.gif
