Hi, is Audyssey Sub EQ considered "low end"? Any recommendations for sub EQs? How about using the built in Parametric EQ with SVS 13 Ultra? Thanks.

SVS AS-EQ1 should be middle level (~$6K) as your budget stated is $2K, which you can only get entry level models from the market.If you are mentioning the one from Audyssey, it should be more than $20K and I will treat it as high end model.
For PEQ in SVS subwoofers, it can tame one and only one peak at a certain frequency only.If you have dip in your response curve, PEQ in SVS cannot help. :) $20K... More expensive than my 13 Ultra{:6_206:} $20K... More expensive than my 13 Ultra{:6_206:}

You have problem with room acoustics? Seems like you are interesting in getting such devices. Actually I am quite satisfied but I feel that the bass can still be "cleaner"... Maybe because my room is too small the sound wave is trapped before the full wavelength can be released...
Anyway I think I should replace my front and satellite speakers first. My front is a pair of Harbeth which is good for music but quite bad for AV purpose , and my surround speakers came from a set of Creative 7.1 computer speakers (made by Cambridge Soundworks).
Sub EQ / Speakers EQ should be the last step, right?
