You better buy tablet computer. Actually , tablet is fanless also can use internal battery over 10hours with touch screen control. also no need to use LPS.
Beucuse I built up the fanless PC with LPS transformer 1 years ago, butafter I compare with my new DELL tablet. Tablet sound qty is much much better than my Fanless PC , the background is more details and the sound stage is more in front of you. Also no need to turn on the Monitor or TV because TB have touch screen Because normal PC use many chipand many interface like PCI-E x 16 or PCIE, IEE139$ chipsso circuit is very long , and more heat to generate , it is no good for listen music.Now many player change to the tablet as CAS.

I think that you are talking about the windows 8.1 tablet. However, I just wonder if I use the only usb on the tablet to connect with the DAC, how can the tablet read the music files which I stored in the external USB Harddisk.
