我都先買隻精選聽下, 唔聽唔知以前係唱成甘風格, 老細話一日只准聽一次 ...
Callas 一生起伏, 唱功變化甚大. 不同時期有明顯的出入, 而且當時廣受讚賞.
有時可以聽以前的錄音是一件好事, 知道現在的變化, 少了hifi味, 多了一份真藝術

以前既人真係好肯下苦功花時間又專心...而家D....唉

OPERA FANATICS will probably pelt me with tomatoes for saying this, but to my ears, the revered soprano Maria Callas has always sounded a bit shrill. Or at least that’s been my impression whenever I listen to her albums on CD or over music-streaming services like Spotify. (I discovered opera in the early ’90s, after the heyday of vinyl.) I know it’s sacrilege not to venerate Ms. Callas’s performances of “Tosca” and “Norma,” but I’ve never been able to get past the brittle audio quality of these digitized recordings.
My relationship to Ms. Callas changed this fall, however, when Warner Classics began releasing remastered versions of her 38 studio albums (plus a collection of previously unreleased recordings) in “high-resolution” audio—a rarefied format favored by audiophiles for its smoother, more-open sound. The yearlong remastering process entailed, in part, playing the original reel-to-reel tapes to create a 24-bit digital recording (as opposed to lesser quality 16-bit transfers). These newly minted digital studio masters have been made available for download, in some cases for only a few dollars more than the CD version. Ms. Callas’s seminal 1953 recording of “Tosca,” for example, costs $23 on Bowers & Wilkins Society of Sound ( bowers-wilkins.com). HDTracks.com sells the collection as well. Note: Hi-res albums are huge. “Tosca” clocks in at over a gigabyte.
Even when listening on modestly priced bookshelf speakers, I found the high-resolution reissues to be noticeably easier on the ears. With the older version of “Madama Butterfly,” I would gird myself for the one-two punch at the end of the first act: Ms. Callas nailing a high note, followed by an enthusiastic cymbal crash. In hi-res, that crescendo of operatic awesomeness is less like getting bashed on the head and more like being washed over by a powerful wave—no doubt closer to the experience of hearing Ms. Callas live.
All this said, you do need some special equipment: There are iPod-like portable players, such as the FiiO X3 ($170) and the forthcoming Pono, that can handle hi-res formats. Some home-theater receivers can play hi-res files off a flash drive that you plug into a USB port. I connect my computer to my sound system using a USB dongle called the AudioQuest DragonFly ($150). Decent speakers or headphones are also required to hear the difference between hi-res and CD-quality formats.
For those who aren’t ready to make the leap to hi-res, there are two ways to enjoy “down sampled” versions of the remasters: CD and standard digital downloads, available from Amazon, iTunes and others. Although both options sound slightly harsher to me than hi-res, they’re still superior to the versions that have for so long failed give Ms. Callas her due.

上日本的amazon, 發現...
ビゼー:歌劇「カルメン」全曲 SACD
日本版果然好強, 仲有SACD 可以等待. 在12月24日出.
還有其他: カラス / 名盤SACDシリーズ ～アビイ・ロード・スタジオによる新リマスター使用
一只是4,500yen, 以家下65算計 = 三百多港完一張, 不入手不是人.
事賁在之前上/前年, esoteric 出過一次SACD, 是boxset裝, 不過沒有用母帶處理混音.
今次日本的warnner出SACD, 真是打了 esoteric 一巴.
剛打去熟店問過, 日本版的SCAD, 黑膠, 香港代理至昨日暫時無咩反應...等週一再看看.
List中少了立體聲版的Tosca, 而著重在之前的mono錄音, 就是有點可惜
至於CD方面, 最後的一批出場了有售了.
