why?
low latency should better than normal one,however 14.04not yet have real time kernel set,so if you conpile itself,you may install real time kernel yourself
btw...ubuntu studio is by default usind low latency

The low latency kernel could be install and it does not need to compile by myself. {:1_332:}
Also, Ubuntu does not provide real time kernel anymore instead low latency. {:6_125:}
