It is different.長物志 的"太平天國 DC" 名字怪怪的.It is a DC to DC power conditioner.You can see it as a excellent noise filter and a large buffer, make it a very clean DC with very low ESR.
The connection is simple.
Your existing DC power supply => "太平天國 DC" => Your Device
We tested it using Hydra-X+ USB to I2Sconverter.The improvement was huge when inserting "太平天國 DC" in the middle (using switching 5V power supply).
We tested it again using 5V linear regulated power supply (LPS) .The improvement is very significant as well.
Now we are using LPS + "太平天國 DC" for our demo environment.
My friend use it to power Macbook.Insert it between Mac power supply and macbook (need a simple modification).The improvement is great.Never imagine Mac could sound that good.
長物志 的"太平天國 DC"support DC input from 5V to 24V.Max current output 3A. It's output voltage = input voltage.

OK, finally, I got the Adnaco set.
The sound is better than blackcat USB.And it keeps improving in an hour.I guess it needs time to run in. {:6_211:}
