What is your sub?
Personally, I just think that you need a AV Amp which is enough to push your speakers... the Mirage seems not difficult to push as they are not huge, so I think u would rather spend the budget on better sub/TV/project/cables/etc... if you not yet buy one...
I am a new hand too~~ just if you do not plan to upgrade your speakers I dun think you need a Z7 IMO
of cos u may buy Z7 for future upgrade, but it seems that people usually upgrade AV Amps more frequently... shorter product cycles perhaps

Z7 is better than 3900, but you need pay more $7K. I am agree Syeah Ching, I will spend the budget on better sub & cable

你再去tomlee真正比較下3900同z7去接你現在用mirage 7.1 speaker, bring你自己喜歡bd and cd去慢慢試下個分別, 是否使到你比多hk$6000買z7.
啲數字只可作參考用,要親身聽過先知,用相同ic但是用不同電阻,op amp,電溶都會有不同效果.
最終都是要自己隻耳仔收貨.
