Beginner for Tube Amp
Get help from C Hing, my friend give me a DIY 2A3 tube Amp, i don;t know, 2A3 is a model name or a series name? is it a entry level tube Amp?? I want to connected a monitor audio RS8 speakers (91db, 6ohms), is it OK?http://www.monitoraudio.co.uk/products/silver-rs/rs8/specification 2A3 is the model number of tube. You can connect your 6 ohm speaker to 8 ohm output of your amp. Monitor Audio RS8 應該係 89db/W @ 1m。
用 2A3 推應無問题。 如果得一枝2A3一邊 single-end 得3~4W, 有聲但無bass, 如果有二枝2A3一邊行 push-pull線路, 有十幾火,都應該可以推座地. 本帖最後由 Gautau 於 2009-9-1 19:32 編輯
我曾用 1W x2 的 收音機 來推都無問題，仲 "鬼殺咁嘈" 添！

no la, my 2A3 was very smart for Hi & Low range, espacilly mid range - voice. Of course, no 'pan pan' sound la!{:1_245:} {:1_245:} {:1_264:}

C hing, any upgrade path for tube AMP, i have 2 piece 2A3 and 2 piece 6SN7, change some tube to have better sound, is it OK? 7# supertenchung
845SE. Very very good machine. Power about 20W & it can drive most of difficult drive speakers. Your 2A3 & 6SN7 to be use for pre-amp (I already done).
