其中旗艦系列AX900H分別有85及65吋兩種尺寸，並設有3000 Hz BLS IFC驅動功能。至於AX800H只有58吋，設有2000 Hz BLS IFC驅動功能。
值得留意是，兩個系列的4K電視機均設有Display Port，可以連接電腦直出4K，AX900H售價及推出日期未定

Panasonic will release a very high-end 4K TV this autumn called AX900 in 55, 65 and 85" sizes.
Panasonic says that “the AX900 offers a superior panel, the highest class of local dimming, and a powerful processor for a seamless, beyond smart experience. The AX900 is another testament to ultimate 4K picture quality encased in a modern, timeless design”.

the AX800 is Edge Lit Pseudo-local Dimming (ELPD) while the AX900 is in fact Full Array Local Dimming (FALD)
I finally managed to see the 55' AX800 demo in a AV Life shop near my home.Sadly they only have TVB HD Jade channel displayed and I can't see any upscaling done on screen, maybe they forgot to turn it on.Also the screen looks much dimmer than the LG and Samsung TV around, it looks low in contrast, not sure whether they intended to do so.I'm really interested in this AX800 but I need to see the strength of it before making decision.Ironically, even the Panasonic shop opposite to AV Life doesn't have AX800 demo.I think Panasonic should make more effort to demo their new product otherwise their potential customers will goes to Korea brands...
AFAIK, in default all TV sets will use the internal scaler to process TV or input source video signal to match the panel's natural resolution.So for 4K TVs, there will always be upscaling for the contents generally available today.
While on this subject, I would like to mention that before I bought my LG 55la9700 last week, I had been to Panashop North Point and AV Life Time Square to view the Panny AX800 58".Since it is HDMI 2.0 & HDCP 2.2, although it costs about $33k ~ $34k, but with 5-year warranty, I was at first tempted to get it on basis of its spec and future-proof nature.However, after I have seen the demo of terrestrial TV (TVB 83 & 85) on it, I found the PQ was only so-so.It would appear that the set's internal scaler is not optimized for FHD contents.The same goes for the 2014 Samsung UHD TVs and LG's UB8500 Series which I have observed so far.In order to stay competitive with the PRC TV manufacturers, it seems that the big Korean and Japanese players this year will likely only use lower cost components even for their 5x" so-called "top-of-the-line" series this year.Since after the comparison, I found the internal scaler of LG 9700 series did a pretty decent job for FHD contents and as the price was very competitive, I therefore chose the LG.
I had also intended to wait for the arrival of Sony's X8500B Series, (the X9000B Series with speakers is too wide and since I usually use the AV amp even for watching terrestrial TV/NOW, the sound quality of the TV's own speakers is not that important to me).I finally also dropped that idea as the latest comments from users in the States are not very favourable.There are reports that quite a few buyers returned their X8500B sets and got the X9000B sets instead because of clouding and bleeding issues.

It's a bit disappointed if the AX800 I saw had upscaler enabled.I highly anticipated their 4K upscaler "4K Fine Remaster Engine" in their 2014 line-up would do a good job on upscaling FHD content:

Given that the higher price when comparing with LA9700, and Edge-lit vs FALD factor, LA9700 seems still the best buy at this moment.
