Morning Budget-fi,
I like your nick name "budget-fi" which is also my character to enjoy music at budget price. I do not know the other Teac desktop product but only portable head-fi only. Actually, to be fair, Teac iHA-P50 s not too sophisticated, not to be mislead, I think the quality cannot exceed Alo International or RSA intruder. I heard these 2 amps and impressed. But at this price point, I think this is "good budget" item. Also compatibility is the selling point, no matter apple or android phones can use this amp. Thanks and it would be great if you can share some photos as well {:1_326:} Add photos today. Hello Sweet Hing, it is always a great pleasure to read your review thread. The amp do NOT support the IPC. Only the iphone 5, ipod touch 5th generatio and ipod nano 7th generation. I tried ipod nano at apple shop. It works!!!
Today I also installed the Teac HR audio App for apple dac. It has the "Increase bit rate" function.

IPC完全認到依部機
Digit out都冇問題...
依個價玩到依個質素真係好抵
細部又輕薄 好過PHA-1好多
amp部分既力水係開high gain下幾夠力
不過DAC個PART就一般
但真係好抵玩 梗係覺得佢好快又公佈24/192 DAC 加AMP, 就好似SONY咁PHA-1 出左半年就話出PHA-2
