It seems that it can be act as a power amp as there is a pre-out.In addition, you could also try to bi-amp, using 2 integrated amps to push a pair of speaker.
Take a look at the manual, and you will find what you are looking for.

thx a lot for your advice. But ，I just worry about the sound different between my pm11s1 and the latest pm11s3.

I guess the PM11S1 could be a power amp after adding a preamp, but not the way around.You could also consider to sell your PM11S1, then buy a preamp and a power amp.
In addition, you could try some silver speaker cable to control the bass, like Audio Note Spx or Spe.The bass of 805 should not be weak and light as you mentioned.The bass is there, but just not clear enough......When I was using the N805, I used 2 pairs of Audio Note Spa silver cable, and the bass was ok.......but just not extremely clear.If you want to get a very strong and clear bass, then like some other chings said, change the amp or speakers......
