師兄,小弟嘅小知小見,因唔同嘅顏色=喇叭箱用唔同嘅木皮做,黑檀木Ebony,紅酸枝木(紅木)Redwood木質係所有7種木皮之中物質最密,貼在外層可以張聲音反射得比較好,所以出嚟效果係最好,而且這2種嘅顏色係最靚最有氣質感,因此係最貴,我最LIKE係REDWOOD, 有貴氣聲音好, 再詳細要問代理/尊家,不對勿打...THX{:6_128:}

yes, as explained ebony has the highest density and should give better sound.
this is why i bought the d18 ebony.

by the way, if "why not pay a bit more for the D20R" is on your list, then "why not pay a bit more (compare to D20R) for the D30R" should be a sound solution..... and there will not be an end

i paid slightly less than 30k last year.sounds excellent!
i am using an very very very old (20+years old) NAIM pre/hicap/power/power system (bi-amp) to drive them.tried just pre/power to drive them, still not bad at all.the power amp is JUST 45w per channel.
