Thanks for introducing me Melanie (that may probably form my next CD target{:6_193:} ). I like the guitar though the melody not a bit so happy as with New Seekers. I heard Beautiful People very long time ago while at that time T_B used to broadcast many US/UK dramma. The name seems somewhat like Doctor Jimmyson, a very lively, warm and funy dramma about a father (by Brian Keith) and his daughter. This song usually comes at end of each episode.
The Euro version of your new seekers is great with so many songs.
In fact, I sometimes got confused betweeen the New Seekers and the Seekers. I've been searching for CD with "Sparrow Song" by the latter for quite some times by in vain. A very beautiful and meaning song though the melody a bit old fashioned but who
cares. So fortunate I can listen on web{:6_174:}

originally THE SEEKERS was an Australian band formed in the early 60's mostly singing folk style song, after they disbanded in 70's, Keith Potger re-organized into THE NEW SEEKERS mostly singing pop or cover version successfully{:1_351:}

Thanks for your link. The Morning Town Ride brought me back to my old school days where I saw 3 beautiful gals singing this song at Talent Quest...lovely face and lovely voices
Yet for The Carnival is over, some close up shot of Judith led me think of Hayley Westenra...(but should be shrinked in size{:6_184:} )
