Did you put the correct remote directory of your NAS?
e.g. music/xxxxx ?
I'm using Synology NAS, both work fine in RaspyFi and Volumio
I tried the new version of Volumio which launch on 24/12, it is very stable compare to Raspyfi, can use any brand of wifi dongle, easy to set up. highly recommend.
The NAS is pretty easy to set up, one thing is , the NAS should be on for Pi to detect the correct path.

我setup佐wifi in Volumio, 但播幾秒鐘歌就停一停，重覆的，所以無用wifi了

我係用Synology DS207+
係window 7 我將隻NAS mount左如下
ip
192.168.1.102
Raspyfi mount完之後都係紅色

我的music之後有slash的，唔知有冇影響
還有要入login及password的
