本帖最後由 ernietse 於 2013-12-26 02:38 編輯I think Black Box was the first generation band /artist using sampling of Loleatta Holloway of LOVE SENSATION{:1_338:}

第一張照片右上是Dreamland(1990)大碟UK CD、Remixland(1990,Remix Album with Bright on Time & The Total Mix)Italian CD、Everybody Everybody US 12" Single、Everybody Everybody UK CD Single & Ride On Time German CD Single
Ride On Time German CD Single的背面,以及I Don't Know Anybody Else的US 12" Single & US CD Single。
Strike It Up US 12" Single & UK CD Single (With Ride on Time The Bright on Mix)、Fantasy/Get Down German CD Single,以及Open Your Eyes UK 12" Single。 第四張照片是Open Your Eyes UK 12" Single的背面、Fantasy UK CD Single,以及Hits & Mixes大碟(1997)澳洲版CD。
第五張照片是Total Mix以及Open Your Eyes的UK CD Single。
I Wanna Have Some Fun、照片左上是這首歌的US 12" Single,以及Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch的Good Vibrations,連I Don't Know Anybody Else也有。照片下方的Ultimix 40,第二首是Good Vibrations的Ultimix版本,長度7:22,旁邊是Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch的You Gotta Believe UK CD Single,買這張CD Single就是為了Good Vibrations(Rod and Wayne Remix)。Marky Mark就是Mark Wahlberg,他去Hollywood拍電影之前,先以Marky Mark的名義出了唱片。 ivan_shan 發表於 2014-1-3 00:53 static/image/common/back.gif

I had both Black Box's "Dreamland" album and Technotronic's first albums (1st and 2nd photos) before. Apart from "Ride On Time", I found the rest of the Dreamland album a bit dull and lack of sparks and I felt the same for Technotronic's debut album. Black Box together with another UK group "Technotronic" (which produced hits like "Pump Up The Jam", "Get Up" etc.) were "typical" dance music groups once making big storms in the UK and across the Europe as well. Their maxi-singles/remixes are worth for collection but definitely not their ordinary/standardalbums. For these particular dance music groups, their remixes and maxi-singles are what fans really need. Another example is Soul II Soul's Back To Life, the album version is "vocal" version and it sucks! {:6_199:}
Both Black Box and Technotronic have remained as "one Hit Wonder" or "landmark" groups marking an important stage of development in dance music history and managed to make their presence felt with big dents made on the US and UK dance charts. Another "one hit wonder" group strikes my mind now, A-ha with which people usually associate "Take On Me" and it's sad since A-ha did make some unnoticeable great pop music in their newer albums like "Minor Earth major Sky" (3rd photo), "Analog" (4th photo) (my two favourite A-ha albums) etc. 忘記說句, 那Blackbox黑人女歌手好正,正過黑盒d歌{:1_253:}
