《香港仔》先導預告片配以一首由 The Decemberists 主唱的《Rox In The Box》作為背景音樂，歌曲關於1917年在美國Montana 州 Butte 小鎮上發生的採礦意外事件。導演彭浩翔表示，選上這歌是因當中情懷，很貼合故事之人物心態和當下的香港處境。
